The watch is still powered by Casio's solar powered watch that actually charges being exposed to most any light. This is a great movement and I have come to appreciate it in other Casio watches. The watch is also atomic clock radio controlled. For the PAW-2000, Casio has upped the movement to accepting 6 frequency bands, as opposed to 5. That just gives it that many more places on Earth where it can receive radio signals from the "local" atomic clock. Overall I think it is a great evolution of the Pathfinder multi-sensor watch line. The timepieces are perfect for just about anyone. Maybe not for full-time wear, but I can't think of anyone who won't appreciate having a Casio Pathfinder in their collection. MSRP price will be 0 for the PAW-2000-1 with the resin strap, and 0 for the PAW-2000-7 with the titanium bracelet. The watches will be available starting in the Fall of 2009. www.casio.com
The Hebraika watches are able to take into consideration the complex leap years and months with different lengths. The image you see of the rear of the watch has a year indicator - it is right over the gold rotor for the automatic movement. There are 40 years on the disc, and another 40 years are displayed on a second disc that supposedly came with the watches. 80 years later, you'll have to get new discs made. Sorry! Did you notice that the crown on one of the watches is made to look like the Star of David? For me, these are just one more reason to be impressed with Alain Silberstein and his watches - from a design, creative, and technical standpoint.
The watch is available as part of a limited edition only; 300 total pieces with 100 pieces in each style. You can preorder the watch for a handsome discount as the watch is due for arrival in about November/December 2009. The base price is between about 0 - 0, but you can get 25% off plus other perks for pre ordering. You'll a volume discount for more watches (another 5% off for two watches, and then you'll get free shipping if you get three). Praesto will also throw in a T-shirt. Not that you really want the T-shirt, but how often do you refuse a T-shirt?
Both watches have GoS forged crowns as well that have an embedded diamond in them. Note the special strap on the Aurora model that has an interesting pattern of contrasting white embroidery. The strap is actually reindeer. I love the Nordic mythic styling that these watches have. The part of me that likes heavy metal rock music wants to say that these watches are "very metal." In homage to this concept I have placed an image of the cartoon band Dethklock from the show Metalocalypse. Gustafsson & Sjögren may just be the new quintessential "metal" watch.
For me, the M103 watch is a good all-around timepiece, with a price of ,400. With a good mix of sport and formal style, you can wear the watch with jeans, shorts, suit, or a black leather jacket. I feel that the watch exudes a sense of practicality and being functionally minded. Its non pretentious, and genuine. A watch like this makes you approachable, and also communicates that you are tasteful and enjoy nice things in life. I personally like the watch a lot and certainly enjoy wearing it.

The one down-side to all the mechanical achievements is that this is not exactly a legible timepiece. You must focus to decipher the precise time... but then again, who relies on their watch for time any more?
That pretty much sums up what the watch does and what it is. All the basic features you need like the time, date, stopwatch, etc... with other useful features like world time and a countdown timer. If you have used a Casio watch in the past, there is no learning curve. Newbies will just need to spend 15 minutes with the manual to understand all that the watch has to offer. Like I said, the only real drawback of the watch is the screen that is sometimes hard to read, but there is the light for those instances. The trade off is a very col style and extremely durable watch. Price can't be beat with a retail cost of , and a street price of a bit less.
